Traffic light coming to Route 16/Mulberry Street in Milton

Work has begun to add a traffic light at the intersection of Route 16 and Mulberry Street in Milton. It expected to be operational by the end of the year, said Charles “C.R.” McLeod, director of community relations at Delaware Department of Transportation 

The signal would join another just east at the intersection of Route 16 and Union Street. That traffic light recently underwent changes with the addition of left-turn lights to alleviate backups on Union Street.
