Tanger Outlets hold back-to-school bash

With a new school year looming, Tanger Outlets tossed a free back-to-school bash and teacher appreciation event Aug. 24 at the Seaside Outlets in Rehoboth Beach.

Visitors were treated to info tents and free prizes from Tanger Outlets; Clothing Our Kids; Dorchester, Md. tourism; Coastal Key Lime Pie; Coffee Rendezbrew; face painting by Copy Cat Paint Parties; and music by Tribe9 Entertainment. In addition, there were free craft stations, hula hoop competitions and cornhole games.

“One of our missions here at Tanger Outlets is to give back to the community,” said Michele Doucette, marketing director at Tanger Outlets Rehoboth. “And this type of event achieves that.”

Doucette said Tanger wants to make sure Sussex County, and all of its schools, feel supported.
