State housing authority director to address chamber Sept. 20

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce will hold a general membership luncheon at 12 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 20, at Rehoboth Ale House on the Mile near Rehoboth Beach.

The guest speaker will be Eugene Young Jr., Delaware State Housing Authority director. More than $120 million has been allocated to solving Delaware’s affordable housing crisis, and Young will speak about how these funds are being used and what impact Delawareans can expect to see as a result of their new initiatives.

The cost is $20 per person including gratuity for buffet lunch and beverage of iced tea or soft drink. The buffet includes pan-seared, soy-glazed salmon; fried rice with grilled chicken; garlic sesame green beans; Buffalo cauliflower; house coleslaw; and Caesar salad.
