Jeremy Powell
Jeremy began his IT career in Washington, DC, and in the early 90s, he started vacationing at the Delaware beaches, where he quickly fell in love with the combination of small-town charm and beach party atmosphere. In 2017, he was finally able to purchase his first home in Rehoboth Beach, and by late 2020, he made the decision to relocate from DC permanently.
After more than four years living in the Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, and Dewey Beach area, he can confidently say that he doesn’t miss Washington, DC, at all.
Before building his career in IT, his first passion was being on the radio. He started at a small-town Top 40 station at the age of 19 and worked his way up from there. He’s been behind the mic at Top 40, Country, and Adult Contemporary stations, but Dance music has always been in his blood. Spending most of his twenties in the Washington, DC area, he had the opportunity to experience some of the great club venues of the time, including Tracks, Nation, Town, Badlands, and The 9:30 Club. He even had the privilege of hearing the legendary Chris Cox spin at Hydrate dance club in Chicago.
Now, it is his privilege to join the team at Radio Rehoboth and bring a high-energy vibe to each Saturday night on Club 991.
