SSD Evaluations LLC has launched a website that can help people find the best disability lawyer to represent their cases. The innovative, claimant-centered service gives prospective lawyers the information they needed to decide whether they want to take a particular case, along with the information claimants must have to make a final decision on who might best provide the expertise needed.
The information lawyers need is obtained by an anonymous case evaluation that determines the potential of a winning case, as taken by claimants who give access to all prospective lawyers by sharing their ID code. If an evaluation indicates a desirable case and client, lawyers must submit a representation offer to remain under consideration. Offers include a detailed profile of an attorney’s practice so clients can easily decide which offer of legal representation to accept. All anonymous evaluation results and representation offers are publicly available for 30 days at ssd-evaluations.com.
The service empowers claimants with the tools and information to take full control over the process of selecting legal representation. Instead of feeling fortunate that a given lawyer accepted their case, claimants will know that it is the lawyer they select who is the fortunate one. Indeed, for every claimant with a potentially winning case, numerous law firms would want them as a client.
Jeff Hadley, a Lewes resident, is the founder and sole owner of SSD Evaluations LLC. As a professional advocate for Social Security disability claimants for 12 years, Hadley helped hundreds of people win their claims. He developed an online case-evaluation tool to help lawyers with their client-acquisition decisions and to help claimants attract prospective lawyers. Requiring those lawyers to submit a representation offer lets claimants exercise the power of consumer choice like never before.
