Rehoboth Beach Bandstand unveils ‘incredible’ lineup

In the most melodic signal that the summer season is finally on its way to coastal Delaware, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand 2024 Summer Concert Series lineup has been released. Get ready to rock, dance, and sing along under the stars.  From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand will be the go-to destination for free live music that promises to delight audiences of all ages.

Kicking off the summer season with a bang, Memorial Day weekend will feature three unforgettable performances. Local favorite Mike Hines & the Look will take the stage Friday, May 24, while Saturday, May 25, will feature the always-entertaining US Navy Band Country Current. On Sunday, May 26, prepare to be transported back to the glory days of rock with Shot Thru the Heart – The Bon Jovi Experience.

And that’s just the pre-season lineup. Starting June 14, the main season heats up with electrifying performances at 8 pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Performances will feature blues, modern rock, classic rock, country, tribute bands, original acts, and even Celtic and World music – there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Highlights of the summer lineup include:

• Celtic rock from The Devil’s Brigade (June 16)
• a special Independence Day performance by the US Navy Band Commodores (July 4)
• rock and soul by The Whiskey Crows (July 7)
• bluesy roots by Scott Tournet & The Spark (July 14)
• rockin’ country music by Red Dirt Revolution (July 26)
• Motown hits by the Sensational Soul Cruisers (August 10).

The summer lineup also includes performances by always-popular tribute acts that span the ages:

• We May Be Right – A Billy Joel Tribute (June 15)
• Frontiers – The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band (June 22)
• Parrotbeach (June 30)
• Best of the Eagles (July 20)
• Yellow Brick Road – A Tribute to Elton John (July 27)
• The Seven Wonders – A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac (August 3)
• Satisfaction – The International Rolling Stones Tribute Show (August 17).

Don’t miss the season’s grand finale Saturday, August 31, featuring a collaboration of bands bringing the best of beach music with Sons of Pirates & the Big Buffett Beach Band.
