Ocean View Brewing scores medal at Great American Beer Festival

Ocean View Brewing earned a bronze medal at the 2024 Great American Beer Festival competition in Denver, hosted by the Brewers Association.

This year’s competition featured 107 categories and 175 different styles, judged by 285 experts over seven days.

Ocean View Brewing was honored in the Pumpkin Ale category for its Boo Ya! entry. The seasonal favorite is brewed with real pumpkin and a blend of spices, including cinnamon, allspice, clove, nutmeg, ginger and vanilla. 

“We are honored to receive this recognition for Boo Ya!,” said Nelia Dolan, vice president of Southern Delaware Brewing, who offered specific praise for efforts by the head brewer and staff to create exceptional beers.
