Nassau Valley Vineyards will host musical entertainer Zoë Lewis for a show at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 32165 Winery Way, Lewes. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Well known in Provincetown, Mass., at the tip of Cape Cod, Lewis plays vintage jazz and world-beat grooves on a multitude of instruments, from the piano to the spoons. Lewis sprinkles in folk and funk with wildly clever lyrics, and throws in some cabaret and vaudeville to create a performance like no other.
“We are over the moon to bring Zoë Lewis to Nassau Valley Vineyards. This is a show that has been over 20 years in the making. The stars have finally aligned to bring this stunning performer here,” said Peggy Raley, NVV co-owner.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Lewis has called Provincetown her home for the last 30 years. She’s traveled to more than 70 countries, picking up musical grooves and stories along the way. She has released 10 albums of original material and has toured with the Indigo Girls, Judy Collins, Richie Havens and Nanci Griffith.
There will be bar service. No outside food or beverage is permitted.
