Mispillion Art League hosts Perfect Gift show for holiday shopping

A diverse collection of works contributed by Mispillion Art League members, the Perfect Gift exhibit exhibit will be on display through the end of the year at the MAL gift shop, 5 N. Walnut St., Milford.

Pieces comprise a spectrum of different mediums including photography, oil and acrylic painting, collage, pastel, mixed media, printmaking and several types of sculpture. Patrons will find coastal scenery, botanicals and wildlife, contemporary abstractions, traditional still lifes and more. An original piece of one-of-a-kind art is sure to be the perfect gift.

The Mispillion Art League gift shop is overflowing with artisan-made pieces at phenomenal prices. Many items are under $50, $20 and even $10.

Visitors will find gorgeous ceramics to display in an entryway or as a dining table centerpiece, or step up the charcuterie game with a stunning new multicolor cutting board. There will be offerings from several local makers.

Small gift item ideas include a wheel-thrown mug, carved-wood bottle stopper or macramé keychain. For those tricky people who already have everything, one of the many miniature paintings in the MAL gift shop may be just the right surprise.
