A Millsboro man is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in March to sexual abuse charges against a minor.
Ryan Conner, 33, is facing two to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of continuous sexual abuse, and he could serve up to an additional three years after pleading guilty to one count of second-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust. Conner will be sentenced Friday, June 14, in Delaware Superior Court in Georgetown.
Millsboro Police Department had been investigating Conner since 2020 until he was arrested in June 2023. He was originally charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust or authority, two counts of second-degree sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust or authority, one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child and one count of sexual solicitation of a child.
