A Milford man faces charges Jan. 30 after police say he stole over $4,000 in goods while employed by the Lewes Lowe’s.
Police went to the store on Plantations Road Jan. 29 for a report of employee theft and learned that Carlos Aguilar, 50, had taken more than $4,400 in merchandise since November 2023 while he was employed at the store, police said.
A warrant was issued for Aguilar’s arrest, and he was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Milford. Aguilar was transported to Milford Police Department where he was turned over to troopers. He was charged with felony theft $1,500 or greater. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
