Ocean View Brewing announced the success of its fundraising collaboration with the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays to benefit the James Farm Ecological Preserve project.
The brewery hosted a series of sold-out events including educational wildlife presentations and a James Farm beer dinner, which raised a total of $1,705 to support the center’s conservation initiatives.
Located in Bethany Beach along the scenic Indian River Bay, the James Farm Ecological Preserve is enhancing its educational facilities, including a new, three-season environmental education building to accommodate up to 70 individuals. Equipped with electricity, enhanced presentation capabilities and improved environmental education equipment, the preserve features picturesque walking trails and serves as an essential educational hub.
Mark Carter, CIB director of development, said, “We appreciated the opportunity to partner with Ocean View Brewing Company to try new ways to connect with the community via the Bay Banter & Brews, and the James Farm beer dinner was amazing.”
