The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce announced the Fire & Ice Festival, now in its seventh year, is set for Friday to Sunday, Jan. 26 to 28, with an Into the Wild animal theme.
Festival goers can venture out for a family-friendly weekend full of winter festivities in downtown Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millville, Frankford and beyond. Attendees will experience ice sculptures, live sculpture carving demonstrations by The Ice God, a skating rink, winter maze, kids’ inflatables, drink tastings, beer garden with an inflatable pub, a chili cookoff, drink tasting tour, music, movies, bonfires, and seasonal stops at favorite shops, restaurants and businesses. It will all be topped off with a fireworks display, contingent on beach and weather conditions.
This event is presented by the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, Bethany Beach Ocean Suites, Southern Delaware Tourism, Delaware Tourism, Bethany Beach Books, the Town of Bethany Beach, the Town of Ocean View, Millville Boardwalk, Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery, State Farm Agent Billy Reese, NV Homes and more than 50 other local businesses.
