Dogfish Head event to benefit Overfalls Foundation Oct. 2

Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats will host a Beer & Benevolence Night to support the Overfalls Foundation from 4 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 320 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. Ten percent of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to assist the foundation in its mission.

The Overfalls Foundation is a nonprofit organization that preserves, teaches about and honors the lightships of the United States and their sailors, and the maritime history of communities in Coastal Delaware through the preservation and display of the Lightship Overfalls and its collection of associated maritime artifacts.
