Week 13 of the NFL season started with fireworks, as the Seattle Seahawks took on the Dallas Cowboys in one of the highest-scoring games of the entire year.
Geno Smith and the Seahawks reversed their offensive woes, evading the Cowboys’ ferocious defensive front and carving up Dallas’s secondary to the tune of 334 pass yards and three touchdowns, thanks to DK Metcalf. The two veterans also got help from promising rookies Zach Charbonnet and Jaxon Smith-Njibga.
But Dallas’ defense finally stepped up in the fourth quarter, and that was all Dak Prescott needed. The Cowboys quarterback continued cementing himself in the MVP race with another stellar performance, racking up 299 pass yards and three touchdowns. His final one, a strike to Jake Ferguson followed by a two-point conversion to Brandin Cooks, gave Dallas the lead for good.
Here are the highlights from a wild night at AT&T Stadium!

Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys
Seahawks stand strong in red zone
Seattle got home on the third-and-goal sack after Dak Prescott and the Cowboys marched right down the field on the team’s opening drive, limiting Dallas to a field goal.
Kicker chants!
Needless to say, Cowboys fans love ex-USFL kicker Brandon Aubrey, who has been perfect in his attempts all season long.
DK is GONE!
How’s that for shaking off Seattle’s offensive woes? Star wideout DK Metcalf took this third-down pass from Geno Smith 73 yards to the end zone for the Seahawks’ first offensive touchdown in two weeks.
CeeDee TD
The Cowboys responded right back, marching down the field again and scoring on a beautiful throw from Prescott to CeeDee Lamb.
And you know Skip Bayless loved it.
Seattle comes up empty
Despite driving right back into the red zone thanks to another great pass from Smith to Metcalf, the Seahawks could not do any damage after taking a delay of game penalty and missing the ensuing field-goal try.
Cooking up another score!
This time, it was Brandin Cooks who found the end zone to increase the Cowboys’ lead to 17-7.
First touchdown for the rook!
Starting in place of the injured Ken Walker III, rookie Zach Charbonnet had his first-ever NFL touchdown, capping off a scoring drive helped by some key Dallas defensive penalties.
Fergy Hurdle!
Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson showed off his athleticism with this smooth hurdle.
Another one for DK!
The fireworks didn’t stop as the Seahawks marched down the field with less than two minutes remaining in the first half, and after a Jaxson Smith-Njigba touchdown catch was reversed on replay, Smith found Metcalf in the end zone for his second score of the night.
Geno is a vibe!
The veteran Seahawks quarterback is definitely not writing back his doubters, taking it on himself to increase Seattle’s lead to eight before jamming out on the sideline.
Tony P’s turn!
Tony Pollard brought the Cowboys back within one, avenging a key tackle for loss from Seattle’s Jamal Adams earlier in the drive.
Who else?
The first interception of the game belongs to — of course — newly minted all-time single-season pick-six record-holder DaRon Bland. It’s almost suprising he was not able to run it back this time.
Seahawks get crucial fourth-down stop
Seattle held onto the lead after Dallas decided to go for it on fourth-and-2 in field-goal territory, only for CeeDee Lamb to make a rare drop at the worst time.
Big completions to Noah Fant and Zach Charbonnet then got Seattle right back into the red zone on offense.
DK hat trick!
Metcalf had his third touchdown of the night and Seattle’s lead got back up to eight.
Metcalf even found a Seahawks fan in the stands to present with the ball.
Dak is STRONG
Not many other quarterbacks could turn what looked like a sure sack into a positive play like this.
Dallas back on top!
The Cowboys finally got a defensive stop on a fourth down against Seattle, and Prescott immediately capitalized by leading the Cowboys back into the end zone, then connecting with Brandin Cooks for a two-point conversion.
