Cape Henlopen High School students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare were among the 140 students from across Delaware, and their advisors, who joined more than 12,000 other members at the 47th annual HOSA-Future Health Professionals International Leadership Conference in Houston in June.
Delaware students represented the First State in competitive events that included medical math, public health, behavioral health, community awareness, and more.
Coming home with the Outstanding HOSA Achievement Award were Cape team members Lindsay D’Ambrogi, Kyli Doyon-Baridon, Emily McCullough and Lily Joyce, with team advisor Linda Sapienza.
