A Bridgeville man died Dec. 15 following a single-car crash on Route 16 west of Milton.
A Ford F-450 was heading eastbound on Route 16 west of Gravel Hill Road at 1:35 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, the truck veered off the right side of the road and crashed into a large tree, police said.
The driver, a 57-year-old man from Lincoln, and the rear passenger, a 60-year-old man from Milford, were transported to a nearby hospital where they are being treated for serious injuries. The front passenger, Terrance Perry, 47, of Bridgeville, was also taken to a nearby hospital where he died. Milton-Ellendale Highway was closed for about three hours as investigators examined the scene and cleared the roadway.
