Person flown to hospital following Angola crash

One person was flown to Christiana Hospital Feb. 29 after the truck they were driving crashed into a tree in Angola. The crash happened at 3:15 p.m. in the 21000 block of Camp Arrowhead Road. According to Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company, a pickup truck ran off the road and struck a tree. The person was flown by Delaware State Police helicopter to Christiana Hospital.

Questions remain on Deauville Beach transition back to state

After the annual three-month hold, Delaware State Parks will again be enforcing entrance fees at state parks across the state beginning Friday, March 1. Lewes Historical Society receives $1.5 million grant

The Lewes Historical Society has received a $1.5 million grant from the Ma-Ran Foundation. The money is specifically intended for what LHS calls strategic enhancements of the Lewes History Museum, which is located in the Margaret H. Rollins Community Center on Kings Highway.
