DelDOT work to cause Route 1 lane closures starting March 4

The Delaware Department of Transportation will be installing variable message signs within the Route 1 median from about 1,000 feet south of Postal Lane/Melson Road near Lewes to the median of Route 1 at Oakwood Street from Monday, March 4, through mid-April, weather permitting. Crash shuts down Route 1 at Nassau Bridge

A Route 1 crash at the Nassau Bridge north of Five Points outside Lewes has shut down southbound traffic. The crash occurred about 12 p.m., March 1. Lewes Fire Department personnel is on the scene. Please seek alternate routes while the scene is cleared.
