Police: Lewes woman grabbed, injured 2-year-old

A Lewes woman faces a child abuse charge after police say she injured a child at a Lewes daycare. Police were contacted Nov. 15 by a staff member of Beach Babies Daycare on Learning Center Lane near Lewes and learned that another staff member, Kaitlyn Kachnovitz, 22, had forcefully grabbed a 2-year-old child, who received a minor injury, police said.
