The Delaware State Police are investigating after finding a Bridgeville man shot in a Bridgeville roadway Nov. 25 who later died.
Police said they responded to a report of a shooting at 3:33 p.m. in the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive in Bridgeville and found Daquan Lake, 26, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Lake was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died.
According to a preliminary investigation, police said, Lake was conversing with a large group of people standing in Mill Park Drive when an unknown suspect shot him. The crowd of people fled the scene; there is no suspect information available at this time, police said.
