The Cape Artists have been selling raffle tickets to win a holiday painting, “Naughty or Nice,” by Jean Bowers, starting the day after Thanksgiving with a drawing set for Sunday, Dec. 17.
The painting could be used as decoration or a holiday gift. Raffle proceeds will go to the Lewes Fire Department in thanks for all they do for the town of Lewes and sounding areas. The painting can be seen when the Cape Artists’ Gallery is open in the evening for special events including the Zwaanendael Museum’s Hospitality Night and the Lewes Historical Society’s Holiday Tour of Lewes. It will be a busy few days as the gallery’s open house will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at 110 W. Third St., Lewes, when shoppers can go in and have a sip of something while looking at holiday paintings.
