Second Street Players will be offering season tickets at a special discount for Small Business Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 25, at the Riverfront Theater, 2 South Walnut St., Milford.
Normally selling for $90, season tickets will be available for $85, and senior season tickets, normally $85, will be just $80.
Second Street Players will present five perennial favorite shows for 2024. Show dates for the endearing drama, “On Golden Pond,” written by Ernest Thompson and directed by Marge Ventura, will be Friday to Sunday, Jan. 26 to 28, and Feb. 2 to 4.
The spring classic comedy will be “You Can’t Take It With You,” written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, and directed by Doug James.
This year’s delightful, toe-tapping summer musical will be “The Music Man.” With book, music and lyrics by Meredith Willson, and story by Meredith Willson and Franklin Lacey, the show is directed by John Hulse. Fall 2023 brings with it the mystery-thriller, “And Then There Were None,” written by Agatha Christie and directed by Mike Amory. Rounding out the year will be the 2024 holiday musical, “The Sound of Music.” With music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and book by Howard Lindsay and Russell Crouse, this production is co-directed by Steven Haber and Melissa Brenner.
