Two Lewes groups to meet Oct. 19

The Lewes Johnnie Walker Beach Subcommittee will meet at 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, at city hall. The agenda includes an update on possible construction of a replica pavilion, along with review of historic photos, and discussion on ideas for displays and signs. 

The Lewes African American Heritage Commission will meet at 6 p.m., Oct. 19, at city hall. The agenda includes discussion of ideas from Art in Bloom, and updates with possible action on a historic marker, and volunteer research and oral histories.
