Antique Alley of Bridgeville will host Vintage Fashions: Through the Ages from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 2, at 18208 Sussex Highway, Bridgeville.
The strolling fashion show is free and open to the public.
Melissa Clarke, a vintage fashion and accessory authority with a vendor booth at Antique Alley, will be coordinating local models to wear fashions available at the shop. Models will stroll the aisles, showing and discussing their outfits with attendees. Fashions will include dresses, suits, coats, hats, handbags and jewelry.
“We are excited to present this free event to our community,” said Jane Houtman, Antique Alley owner. “It has been amazing to see the growth this past year in vintage fashion among all ages, and both men and women. We’re encouraging our customers to wear their vintage attire that day as well.”
“We’re going all out,” said Clarke. “Cherrish Krasulak, representing the Vintage Society of Delaware, will be on site to style hairdos and makeup to match the period of attire.” Professional photographer Lloydlee Heite will capture images of the models during the event.
Along with Clarke, models will include Amanda Lapp, Rachael McDonough, Megan Bradley and Mercy Leisure. Reenactors from the Air Mobility Command Museum in Dover, modeling World War II attire, will include Krasulak and Nick McCloskey.
Light refreshments will be served. To learn more, call 302-337-3137.
