Oldfather Group named top mega sales team in Delaware

The Oldfather Group of Compass Real Estate, with headquarters in the heart of historic Lewes and satellite offices located throughout the coastal region, has again been named to the Real Trends/Tom Ferry America’s Best Real Estate Professionals list for the United States.

The ranking for 2023 continues a multi-year streak for the Oldfather Group, with the firm this year ranking first in Delaware under the program’s Mega Team category.

Mega teams are defined as real estate agencies that have a minimum of 21 licensed agents working in their group. The Oldfather Group finished double-digit percentage points ahead of Delaware’s second-ranked team in both sales and volume for 2023, even during one of the most challenging real estate markets of the last few decades.

For the last calendar year, the Oldfather Group closed 415 transactions for a total of more than $163 million in sales volume.

The application process for the annual Top 1,000 list begins on Jan. 1 each year and runs through March 31. Applicants are vetted in many different ways, including through personal contact, by reaching out to local and state realtors’ associations, and via independent third-party verification.
