Is Russell Wilson’s 2024 Fantasy football projections on the rise now that he is a confirmed starter for Week 1? The Pittsburgh Steelers announced last Wednesday that the veteran and former Super Bowl winner will be under center when they visit the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1. Wilson showed flashes of his vintage brilliance during a frustrating 2023 season with the Denver Broncos. If his preseason touchdown pass to George Pickens is any indication, Wilson is in for a bounce back season and could be one of the top 2024 Fantasy football sleepers.
That being said, Wilson’s overall performance has been on the decline for a few years now and he only ranked in the top three in fantasy points once last season. Is Wilson too risky of a player to move up your 2024 Fantasy football rankings? Before crafting your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football rankings and 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine.
Last year, the model accurately predicted that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs would carry significantly more value than expected during his rookie season. The result: Gibbs rushed for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching 52 passes for 316 yards and a score. Gibbs was coming off the board in the middle of the fourth round on average but finished as a top-10 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues.
The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor’s monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it’s called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.
The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The projections update multiple times daily, so you’re always getting the best Fantasy football advice.
Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football rankings 2024, along with plenty of sleepers, breakouts and busts. Head to SportsLine now to see them.
One of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts the model is predicting: Steelers running back Jaylen Warren. While Najee Harris held the spotlight in the two seasons these rushers have played together, Warren has been an explosive albeit under-the-radar player. He nearly doubled his production in his second NFL season, finishing with 149 carries for 784 yards and four touchdowns.
Warren also has receiving chops and logged 61 receptions for 370 yards in 2023, which gives him even more fantasy upside. His ADP is outside the top 100, but his skillset and potential make him a steal, especially if Harris has to miss time for any reason.
Another breakout that SportsLine’s Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid. The second-year pro out of Utah is coming off a productive rookie season where he caught 73 passes for 673 yards and two touchdowns. Kincaid flashed his true potential in the Bills’ final two games of the 2023 season, catching 11 passes for 171 yards on 15 targets. With Stefon Diggs no longer in the mix in Buffalo, those numbers will likely become the standard for Kincaid going forward.
Kincaid was a first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and is cut in the same mold as today’s top pass catching tight ends. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, the 24-year-old is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and he plays with a quarterback in Josh Allen who can push the ball downfield as well as anyone in the NFL. With Diggs out of the way, Kincaid has a very good chance to develop into Allen’s No. 1 target in 2024. See which other Fantasy football breakouts 2024 to pick here.
SportsLine is also extremely high on a surprising running back you aren’t even thinking about being taken in the middle rounds of 2024 Fantasy football drafts. This running back is listed as a shocking top-10 option ahead of superstars like Jonathan Taylor and Joe Mixon. You can only see who it is, and the 2024 Fantasy football rankings for every player, at SportsLine.
So which 2024 Fantasy Football breakouts should you target? And which RB shocks the NFL with a top-10 performance? Visit SportsLine now to get 2024 Fantasy Football cheat sheets for every single position, all from the model that called Jahmyr Gibbs’ breakout season, and find out.
