The Euro 2024 group stage is behind us, meaning it is time for the knockout stage, beginning with the Round of 16 on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
And just two days in, the draw nearly suffered arguably what would have been its biggest shocker: an England loss.
Germany and Switzerland were the first two countries to move on to the quarterfinals, after defeating Denmark and Italy, respectively, in the Round of 16 on Saturday.
Then, in Sunday’s first game of the day, Slovakia nearly pulled off a stunner, leading England 1-0 in the 95th minute, before Jude Bellingham tied the game in that same minute, and a little over three minutes later, Harry Kane scored the eventual game-winning goal.

Entering the match, England was the +350 favorite to win the tournament and at -550 to defeat Slovakia.
France punched its ticket to the next round by defeating Belgium 1-0 on Monday afternoon.
