Nassau Valley Vineyards will host I Draw Slow in concert at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Grand Cru Hall, 32165 Winery Way, Lewes. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Fronted by brother-sister songwriting team Dave Holden on guitar and vocals, and Louise Holden on vocals, this Dublin-based group bridges the gap between traditional Irish and American roots music. The award-winning, five-piece band has released four critically acclaimed albums.
Nassau Valley founder and co-owner Peggy Raley-Ward said, “People were so overwhelmed with their show here last year, I’ve been bombarded with requests for their return. We are so excited to be able to bring I Draw Slow back to Delaware. From the very first time I heard them, they blew me away. The Irish are the best storytellers in the world, and it’s clearly front and center in their music. Everything about them says originality. From their magical harmonies, sublime lyrics, fiery grooves to heart-stopping sensitivity, it’s well-crafted songwriting with a perfect, multi-instrumental delivery. You really don’t want to miss this show.”
There will be full bar service and mobile charcuterie offerings from Beachin’ Bash. Tickets are $40.
