Assemblage art workshop set at RAL May 4

The Rehoboth Art League announced Barbara Bunford will be back to teach her assemblage art class in a one-day workshop from 9 a.. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres.

Assemblage is made by assembling recycled elements or everyday objects consisting of 3-dimensional elements projecting out from the substrate. In this class, participants can use their substrate of choice. It can be old canvases, boxes, pieces of wood, maybe a collection of old picture frames or any item one might find at the thrift store or lying around the house.

The class is open to students of any skill level, 16 years and older. Cost is $85 for members or $95 for nonmembers.
