Kylie Kelce might not enjoy the spotlight, but that doesn’t mean she’s not supportive of her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce‘s, romance with Taylor Swift.
The 31-year-old wife of Jason Kelce appeared on Monday’s Today show, where co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb couldn’t help but bring up Travis’ high-profile relationship, asking Kylie what watching the couple’s love story unfold has been like as a member of the Kelce family.
“Ultimately, if Trav is happy, we’re happy,” Kylie said. “We are always cheering on Uncle Trav. It is such a treat to be able to do that on and off the field.”
As for the romance between Travis and Taylor, Kylie, who has been spotted spending time with the “Anti-Hero” songstress, added, “It’s been amazing.”
Guthrie then asked the private mother of three, “Can you imagine if there had been this much attention on you on your first date with Jason?”
“Oh no!” Kylie replied. “There’s no video evidence of that, and I’m so glad.”
The couple met on Tinder in 2014, but their first date wasn’t exactly what dreams are made of. Kylie said that 45 minutes after she arrived for the date, Jason fell deeply asleep. Thankfully, she decided to give her future husband a second chance.
“We had talked up to that point, had very nice banter and then the very next day he launched a full apology,” she shared.
As for Taylor and Travis, the couple is enjoying some time off together. Travis helped lead the Kansas City Chiefs to yet another Super Bowl win in February and Taylor is currently on hiatus from her Eras tour.
Last week, a source told ET that “Taylor and Travis are soaking up their downtime together. They are appreciating the here and now and the love they share with one other. When they’re able to just chill out, they love to hang out with their friends and family, travel, see new things together, and enjoy their privacy.”
